We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Management Accounts Team. As a key part of the finance team you will assist the Senior Management Accountants to provide professional advice and support to budget managers, helping them with queries and working to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and the Trust’s financial policies and procedures are adhered to. If you are interested in a varied and challenging role and the chance to expand your knowledge of finance and learn more about management accounting and NHS finance this role is a great opportunity to gain experience and develop within a friendly and supportive team. There will be a 5% Recruitment and Retention Fee included with the basic salary. • Supported by the Senior Management Accountant and wider finance team you will take responsibility for some specific areas within the Trust, delivering a full management accounting service including processing ledger adjustments, completing variance analysis and liaising with budget managers. • The successful candidate should be skilled in using Excel and comfortable with managing a variable workload and challenging deadlines. • The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills to assist them in dealing with a wide range of people and an interest in investigating and solving problems using a range of information sources and systems for which training will be provided. They will also need to be comfortable discussing finance matters with non-finance managers.
